Three groups with overlapping membership will oversee the affairs of Ecovila Cunha: Ecovillage Council The Ecovillage Council makes all decisions relating to use of the property, operations, maintenance, gatherings and other events, etc. The Ecovillage Council must approve all applications to be a Member, Associate Member or Friend. The Ecovillage Council operates by consensus. All Members and Associate Members of Ecovila Cunha are members of the Ecovillage Council and may participate in meetings and discussions, either in person or via the Community Zero website, email, phone and Skype. Friends may also participate, with no decision-making privileges. Guests may participate in meetings and discussions taking place during their stay, with no decision-making privileges. Cia. Ltda. Board Ecovila Plantas e Alimentos Naturais, Cia. Ltda., owns the property of Ecovila Cunha. The Cia. Ltda. Board makes all decisions relating to finances, investments, improvements to the property, and the sale or transfer of assets. The Cia. Ltda. Board operates by consensus. All Members and Associate Members of Ecovila Cunha are members of the Cia. Ltda. Board and may participate in meetings and discussions, either in person or via email, phone and Skype. Associate Members are not allowed to block consensus. LLC Board Shambala Ecovillage LLC, a limited liability corporation incorporated in New Mexico USA, owns a majority share of Ecovila Plantas e Alimentos Naturais, Cia. Ltda. The LLC Board makes all decisions relating to the LLC’s operations and investments. The LLC Board operates by consensus. All US-based Members and Associate Members of Ecovila Cunha are members of the LLC board and may participate in meetings and discussions, either in person or via email, phone and Skype. Associate Members are not allowed to block consensus.
